In 2008, as a leading provider of oilfield services in the Middle East, Al Qubas made the strategic decision to create holding companies Al Qubas Petroleum Services (AQPS) and Al Qubas Petroleum Industries (AQPI), which segregated the company’s business units and manufacturing and fabrication unit respectively. Additionally, Al Qubas has developed an integrated project services division to ensure that clients who may use more than one of Al Qubas’s skills experience seamless project management.
Although the company’s activities are predominantly based in the Middle East, it is continually expanding its operations in North Africa, Far East and South East Asia as well as North America and the North Sea region through a number of acquisitions and joint ventures with a number of internationally recognized companies.

Al Qubas certified and adopted the latest HSEQ standard based on the ISO-9001:2008 for Quality Management System, ISO-14001:2004 for Environmental Management System and 18001:2007 OHSAS (Occupational Health & Safety Management System), all are integrated to one HSEQ Management System.
